We are a new Thai restaurant on Huebner Road in San Antonio. Thai99 Express is a family owned and operated business. Carla, Billy and Naomi grew up in Thailand and have been in the Thai restaurant business off and on for over 20 years. Billy, our chef has been a Thai chef for over 23 years. We look forward to your visiting us and think you will enjoy the food and the hospitality.

About Thai99 Express

Thai99 Express is a neighborhood, family-friendly establishment. We are open Monday -Friday 11:30AM – 8:00PM and on Saturday 12PM – 8PM, with full service, delivery and carry out options. The menu features a variety of Thai dishes, appetizers and some specials. We are currently working on some vegetarian options. At the present time you can order most dishes with tofu if you prefer.

Our Speciality

Thai99 Express’ specialties include Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, Pad See Ew and Pad Ka Pao, but what makes them special is the flavor. Our chef, Billy specializes in making homemade sauces to complement all of our dishes. You might also like to try our Red Curry Duck or Red Pineapple Curry. If you are looking for rice dishes, we have an awesome Thai Fried Rice with choice of protein. We will spice it up to your tastes…just be careful!

MEET OUR EXPERT

Event True Master

While Billy Johnson doesn’t sound like a Thai chef’s name, don’t be fooled. Billy is the son of a Thai mother and a US Air Force Veteran. He grew up in Thailand for much of his early life and honed his culinary skills there. He has been cooking Thai food here in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area for 23+ years. Some of Billy’s favorite dishes to create are Pad Khe Mea, Kao Pad (Thai Fried Rice) and of course Pad Thai. What sets him apart is the sauces he creates giving his dishes some amazing flavors.
